Participation with scientific poster consists in the elaboration of a research study in a poster format for its exhibition in the 2nd International Conference on Transmission and Knowledge in Podiatric Research.
The works presented through this option will automatically enter a classification by vote of all the attendees, the most voted will go to a semifinal in which the person in charge of their authorship, will defend their work briefly in 5 minutes.
The scientific committee will assess the votes, the quality of the investigation and the defense to choose the winner from one of the semifinalists, which will win the Prize for the Scientific Poster of the 2nd International Conference on Transmission and Knowledge in Podiatric Research.
The deadline for submission of abstracts for evaluation by the Scientific Committee is the 4th of October 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Abstract must be up to 250 words following the structure:
- Introduction: addressing the background of the topic and the aim of the study.
- Method: Briefly describing the methodology applied.
- Results: Highlighting the most impressive ones.
- Conclusions: That answers the main question or objective of the study, concise and decisive.
Before submitting your abstract, participants must be registered to the 2nd JITCIP. If you have not registered yet, you can access the registration form on the link below.
Posters will have an A0 size (1189 x 841 mm) vertically. They must contain an Introduction, Method, Results and Conclusion. It is recommended to add references of interest at the bottom of the poster. The language used will be Spanish or English. They will include the icon of the 2nd JITCIP in a visible place next to the title. You can download a transparent version of it on the following link.
They must be delivered to the Technical Office in physical format for their presentation where the 2nd JITCIP will take place, from Thursday the 21st of November at 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. the next day, the 22nd of November, before the beginning of the inauguration. At the end of the day, the authors will be able to collect their posters.
