Scientific Committee

Director of the II International Conference on Transmission and Knowledge in Podiatric Research and Coordinator of DEDAP research group, professor at Universidad of Extremadura and doctor of science with a long teaching career in Anatomy in podiatry.

Félix Marcos Tejedor
Sub-dean of the Degree in Podiatry at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. Expert in the clinical approach of nail pathology and research of natural resources as a source of new treatments.

Ana Mª Pérez Pico
Podiatrist and professor of the degree in Podiatry at Universidad de Extremadura. Member of DEDAP research group. Master in Advanced Clinical Podiatry and Surgical Podiatry and Specialist in Advanced Podiatric Clinic.

Mª Ángeles Gómez González
Head of the Basic Prevention Unit of the Plasencia-Coria-Navalmoral area of the Extremadura Health Service. Doctor in Nursing and degree in Sociology. Professor of the degree in Nursing and the Expert in Nail Pathology at Universidad de Extremadura.

Mª José Iglesias Sánchez
PhD in Pharmacy. Expert in molecular techniques in fungal and viral infections. Experience as a professor of Biochemistry and Pharmacology in the degree of Podiatry ar Universidad de Extremadura.

Esther Mingorance Álvarez
Degree in Biology from Universidad de Málaga. Professor of Human Anatomy in the degrees of Occupational Therapy and Physical Activity and Sports Sciences at Universidad de Extremadura.

Lisa Rodrigues
B.Sc. in Biology, M.Sc. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and PhD in Health Sciences – Biomedical Sciences field, at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Junior Researcher at the Center for Neurosciences and Cell Biology, Coimbra, Portugal and specialised in medical mycology and host-Candida interactions.

Alberto Aldana Caballero
Podiatrist and M.Sc in Biomedical research. Researcher at Universidad de Extremadura through a research contract from Fundación Valhondo. Member DEDAP Research group.

Pablo González García
Podiatrist and Nail Pathology Specialist. Part of the DEDAP Research Group supporting research projects and Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory Technician.
